Hæ, my name is Petra Marita  and I'm a photographer and visual artist born in 1989. I have my roots in Finland but have been calling Iceland my home since August 2019.

I’m a big believer in following your dreams and trusting your intuition, and that’s pretty much what lead me to Iceland. This country truly feels like home and I'm so happy to get to live in this beautiful and inspiring environment. For me this is the perfect place to work and create!

I studied photography at the Institute of Design at Lahti University of Applied Sciences and I've been running my own creative business since 2013. During the years I've worked with many of the biggest companies and advertisement agencies in Finland. 

I create photographs that are strong, esthetic and timeless. I use a lot of colors and soft light to create the recognizable atmosphere in my work. I love to work with natural light and always go with that option if possible.

Currently I’m working mainly all around Iceland, but I'm available for commissions all over the world.
